About Olivia

Hello, my name is Olivia Sunshine and I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I am a mother of five.

I’m a storyteller and author. My mission is to put the rainbow back up in the sky for EVERYONE to enjoy. When I was younger I read Helen Keller over and over again. I was blown away that Helen knew when there was a rainbow in the sky by feeling the energy. Helen was deaf, dumb, and blind but she was so intuned that she literally felt the power of the rainbow. That was my inspiration for rainbows. And here are a few quotes from that lovely and inspirational lady:

  • “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched-they must be felt with the heart.” ~~~Helen Keller
  • “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”  ~~~Heln Keller
  • “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.”  ~~~Helen Keller

I’ve often thought that you would never see a headline in the paper saying: “Man struck dead by a fleeting rainbow as it passes by!”

Another inspiration to me has been Albert Einstein. He taught me how important imagination is. When I was young I had a reading problem. But I didn’t have any problem with my imagination. I was asked in the interview with Jeanette on my website here, “How do I tap into my imagination?” I replied, “I don’t need to tap into it, it’s always there.” What I didn’t say was, that sometimes it’s a bit of a burden. Like in the past when my kids were still at home and were supposed to meet me somewhere and then they weren’t there. I’d go into a whole thing in my head about why they weren’t here. Until they were right in front of me. However, I’m learning more and more about breath work and it’s helping to keep the panic down.

Here are a couple of quotes from Albert Einstein about imagination:

  • “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”  ~~~Albert Einstein
  • “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”    ~~~Albert Einstein
  • “Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”    ~~~Albert Einstein
